This is a classic kitchen designed to suit the proportions of an elegant, period home.
The quartzite-topped island reflects the light and enhances the space, as well as serving as a useful divider between the well-laid out, functional kitchen and the dining table. All units were hand-crafted to order and to last; the carcasses were made from birch plywood, while maple was used for the doors. The wood was hand-painted in Colourtrend 'silk seal' and 'silver birch'; all drawers glide smoothly and there are no hard edges. Look inside the larder unit next to the fridge for a good way to store the things you need in your kitchen. Note the detail underneath the island worktop – lending this new island a look that belongs in a period kitchen. Serving as a casual eating area or an additional work surface, this classic island makes this kitchen sing. The large fridge/freezer is seamlessly built-in and the sink area has a softness from the curved marble worktop. The owners are very happy with this Richard Egan classic. Comments are closed.
